Project ECHO Hubs

Project ECHO hubs operate through partnerships with institutions like Universities such as Michigan state University and organizations like Upper Peninsula Health Care Solutions (UPHCS). Michigan Medicaid has implemented Project ECHO hubs with the goal of improving care access for Medicaid beneficiaries. How Project ECHO works: Hub: An expert, typically made up of subject matter experts, provides mentorship, education and knowledge. Spokes: Community based providers (PCPs, RNs) join to receive didactic training, consultation. Sessions: Brief expert presentation followed by case-based learning and discussion.
