One-time ARPA-related disbursement/payment information

The Agency for Health Care Administration (Agency) announced a disbursement of additional funding from the ARPA HCBS Enhanced Funding Opportunity to the Medicaid Managed Care Plans for provider disbursement. The Agency is initiating a one-time, retention payment for non-HCBS waiver providers.

The one-time payments were calculated based on a 19% rate increase applied to non-waiver HCBS claims with dates of service between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022 for the following allowable services:

  • Assistive Care Services (PT 14)
  • Community Behavioral Health (PT 05)
  • Durable Medicaid Equipment (A, E, K, B and T codes only)(PT 90)
  • Home Health Visit Services (PT 65)
  • Personal Care Services (PT 65)
  • Private Duty Nursing Services (PT 65)

Humana managed medical assistance (MMA) program

Humana has contracted with the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) to provide services to Medicaid beneficiaries through MMA plans. Medicaid provides healthcare coverage for income-eligible children, seniors, disabled adults and pregnant women. It is funded by both the state and the federal governments.

Region 1: Escambia, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Walton counties

Region 2: Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Taylor, Wakulla and Washington counties
